Bruce Button (Principal) Print

Bruce grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing his secondary schooling in Johannesburg, he studied science and education at Wits University. He worked for five years as a teacher and a scientist and then completed his initial theological education at the Baptist Theological College in Johannesburg. Bruce served in pastoral ministry from 1994 to 2006 in Centurion, Durban and Pretoria; he has been on the full time faculty of Sovereign Grace Theological Seminary since January 2007. He is married to Vehlia and they have four daughters. Bruce and his family relocated to Lusaka in October 2009 to continue with the work of SGTS after its relocation to Lusaka. Bruce is currently completing his PhD degree in New Testament studies through the North-West University.
