| Introduction to our Programmes |
|
|
SGTS recognizes that prospective students have a wide range of backgrounds and callings. Some wish only to deepen their personal knowledge of God and his word; others are called to lay ministry within a local church; others are called to full time pastoral ministry. In order to accommodate these various needs, SGTS offers a range of programmes based on different selections from the complete set of modules available. Prospective students should consider their own needs, callings and time commitments in order to choose a programme which will best equip them for the Lord’s service. Accreditation statusAt this stage we do not have formal accreditation for our programmes. It is thus important for prospective students to note that we cannot and do not purport to offer qualifications that are recognized by any government or formal accrediting body. We do, however, seek to ensure that our programmes meet the highest academic standards, and that students will benefit in every way from their studies through SGTS. It is our intention to obtain formal accreditation as soon as possible. Individual modulesMany people may wish to expand their knowledge of the Bible and theology without committing themselves to a complete programme of study. We accommodate this need by allowing students to register for individual modules without registering for a qualification. |
